The Barcelona Aquarium is the world's largest Mediterranean-themed aquarium, located in Port Vell. With over 11,000 animals from 450 different species, it offers a journey through the world's marine ecosystems.

The highlight is the Oceanarium with its 80-meter transparent tunnel where sharks, rays, and sunfish swim above and around visitors. The section dedicated to the Mediterranean is the most complete in the world.
